Today, we remember one of our leaders, Charles (Charlie) M. Henderson, who lost his life in the line of duty in Welcome. He came into contact with high tension lines while assisting a child in a tree. His service and sacrifice will NEVER be forgotten.

I respect seeing this shared all these years later. I’m the grandson of Charles. Unfortunately I never got to meet him bc I was born later in that year. I do know that somewhere out there is a man with a family bc of his sacrifice that day. R.I.P GPA
