On Saturday, January 15 we had our annual banquet in recognition of the endless dedication of our members. 2011 marks our 47th year of service to our community.
Becky Sunderg received the Charles M Henderson Award. The recepient of the CMH Award is voted on by our peers and is named in honor of Captain Charlie Henderson who lost his life while saving a child in a tree on February 24, 1990.
The Chief's Award also went to Becky & the President's Award went to Bertie Spalding.
Shirley Summers, wife of Charter Member David Summers, Sr, was voted by the membership to be given Honorary membership.
During FY2010 we responded on 366 ambulance calls & 14 with the Mass Casualty Unit. EMT Dawn-Moree Dugan was the top runner with 226 calls.
